As part of its executive training, the Alphonse and Dorimène Desjardins International Institute for Cooperatives welcomed from 26 to 30 October 2015, a group of 25 Brazilian executives and members of boards of financial services cooperatives.
The study visit was organized by CONFEBRAS, the Brazilian Confederation of financial services cooperatives, and aimed to better understand the Mouvement Desjardins and the Quebec system of financial services cooperatives. The mission of CONFEBRAS is to represent the Brazilian cooperative credit institutions or systems and to disseminate the cooperative culture, focusing on education.
Here are some testimonials from the evaluation form, translated from Portuguese:
“A global reference of cooperatives.”
“A high knowledge of the subject and also of our country.”
“Excellent experience.”
“I learned much more than I had imagined.”
“For sure, the concepts learned will be useful in our daily routine.”
