The Institute is very pleased to host Asia Guerreschi for three months!
Asia’s PhD topic focuses on production cooperatives for innovative circular economy and decarbonization strategies, measuring their environmental, economic and social impact. In parallel, she is also the founder and coordinator of the “Climate Circular Coop” project where she brings together interviews of cooperatives that are implementing circular economy strategies.
Asia has a background in communications and completed her Masters at King’s College London in physical geography. Her master’s research focused on observing the effect of cloud cover on ambient and interior canopy temperature using Arduino sensors and remote sensing. In 2020, she founded an organization called “Rethinking Climate” led by youth whose mission is to revolutionize environmental communication for effective climate action.
