The Alphonse and Dorimene Desjardins International Institute for Cooperatives is pleased to announce that Ibtissam Benbrahim, a Research Assistant for the Institute since January 2018 and a candidate for the Master in Management (M.Sc.) – Finance at HEC Montréal, received the merit-based Gestion Cristallin Scholarship for the Winter 2019 quarter. The scholarship is largely owed to her excellent academic results, and will be officially granted on April 25 by Mr. Claude Perron during the scholarship awards luncheon.

Passionate about finance, particularly its analytical aspects, Ibtissam will finish her program in December 2019. During her career at HEC Montréal, her good academic results have enabled her to obtain 4 scholarships. In the coming months, Ibtissam will write her Supervised Master’s Project on valuation models of financial assets, as well as prepare for the professional title of Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) for December 2019.
