The Institute is pleased to announce that the article “Invoking Alphonse:” The founder figure as a symbolic resource in organizational identity work and strategic change” by professors Ann Langley and Joëlle Basque has been published in the prestigious academic journal Organization Studies.

Holder of the Chair in Strategic Management and Pluralistic Settings, codirector of the Strategy as Practice Study Group and a professor of management at HEC Montréal, Ann Langley specializes in strategic management processes and practices, with a special emphasis on organizational change, decision making, leadership and innovation in pluralistic settings.

A professor at the Department of Humanities, Letters and Communication at TELUQ University, Joëlle Basque completed her studies the field of communication. Her areas of expertise include organizational communication, qualitative methods, identity building and organizational change.
